Mackside and the Fairule Cottages allow a minimum of 3 nights throughout the year and a minimum of 7 nights during the months of July and August.

The shepherds hut allow a minimum of 2 nights throughout the year.

A 10% discount is offered on stays of 7 nights or more.

Children under 11 are advised not to use the hot tub, all children must be supervised when outside.

No Stag dos

The Rule Valley Escapes team live within 10 minutes of all properties, if you forget essential items, require assistance or would just like a chat about the local area please contact us at any time.

All properties have a travel cot and high chair, additional facilities for children such as sterilisers, toys, play mats etc can be provided on request.

A couple of basic bikes that can be borrowed on request, please bring your own helmets.

Dogs

2 dogs allowed in each property (with the exception of the hut which allows one small dog) on request for £40 per dog per stay. They must not be left along at the properties and must not go in the bedrooms or on the furniture. An additional damages deposit of £200 required when dogs are attending. We will provide a water bowl, and towels for the mucky paws! Please keep dogs on leads when walking through fields of livestock.

HOT TUBs 

Pre light service available at £30 to include a bottle of Prosecco. This ensures that the hot tub is at the perfect temperature for your arrival. Guests must inform hosts of their arrival team at least 48 hours prior to arrival. The hot tub takes approx. 3-4 hours to heat up from ‘tap cold’. Once to hot tub have been heated it retains its heat well (insulated cover must be on when not in use) and does not require as long to heat up on consecutive days. One log bundle is provided free of charge.

Log Burners

One large basket of logs is provided free of charge, including newspaper, kindling and firelighters

Additional large log packs for the hot tub and log burners (that include kindling and firelighters) can be purchased for £10 a bundle. Only logs bought on site can be used within Hot tub stoves and log burners (certain logs / coals and treated wood can damage the stoves)

IN HOUSE CATERING
